Stephanie, a Local Therapist

I’m Stephanie Beister, a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker from Omaha, NE. I am here to provide compassionate and creative care to you. I truly care about your well-being and am passionate about partnering with you to improve the quality of your life. Suffering can take so much from us. I want to guide you to combine skillfulness and your personal values to empower you to create a life with less suffering. 

I have had the opportunity to practice in a variety of setting including hospital-based care and services for those experiencing homelessness. In my journey, I have gained many skills and am a student of my craft (I love to learn new things!). I use a variety of therapeutic tools including; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy with a focus on Mindfulness, and Grief processing. I have a passion for partnering with those with over 50, but partner with adults of all ages.
